In doing so, the IHPA provides the following services:
a. Evaluation of health and well-being;
b. Health and well-being strategies development;
c. Assessment of Essential Public Health Operations;
d. Public health services reform strategies development;
e. Evaluation of public health policies and system´s strategies implementation;
f. Support and guidance to national and sub-national authorities in implementing strategic public health services reforms;
g. Health and Public Health Legislation development (generic and specific for Environmental Health, Occupational Health, Food Safety and Nutrition, Non-communicable diseases, Mental Health, Mother and Child Health, etc.);
h. Projects development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation;
i. Matching countries needs to potential funding agencies, charities and bilateral donors;
j. Partnerships´ development at various levels;
k. Support to implementing health promoting activities and initiatives at community level by the health promoting settings approach (Healthy Cities, Health Promoting Schools, Health Promoting Enterprises, Health Promoting Regions, Health Promoting Hospitals, etc.
l. Building up strategic partnerships and networks.
