The IHPA assists Governments to define, plan and implement systems, that aim to create an adequate , affordable workforce, fit for purpose, to effectively and efficiently address the health needs of local populations.
In doing so, the IHPA provides the following services:
a. Human resources for health needs assessment;
b. Human resources for health policy development;
c. Human resources for health and public health policies and strategies development;
d. Capacity building for health, public health, nurses and midwifes with particular focus on Non-communicable diseases prevention and health promotion;
e. Projects development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation;
f. Matching countries needs to potential funding agencies, charities and bilateral donors;
g. Partnerships´ development at various levels;
h. Building up strategic partnerships and networks.
